Quite a few months ago, we started using Missive for our internal email and chat client, and we've slowly invested more and more into it. Missive's great API and support for posts has let us automate a ton of business processes, as well as the ability to chat in-between emails allows us to coordinate our responses, answer each others' questions, and even collaborate on drafts.
We've long supported our users through a combination of our in-depth docs, the X-ray feature, a Gitter chatroom, and an email support channel. However, we've long considered the Gitter chatroom the least successful support channel, as it encourages cross-talk, threads are inconsistently used, and a higher response latency due to API and server limitations.
Recently, we noticed Missive's Live Chat feature and, using the internal chat, discussed using it over the Gitter. Within a day, we had it working and before the end of the week we've launched it!
